Event Coverage Winter Drags Upstate NY Pre-1953 Autos and Early Bikes "FEB 18th 2018"

If anyone is interested in attending this event it is FREE!

This is something a friend and I threw together so that we could have fun with our purpose built cars while waiting for the weather to get nice again. This event is free entry and spectating, basically we just are hoping to get a bunch of like minded people together to have some WINTER FUN!
The rules are as follows: Pre 1953 Automobiles only and they must have either a Flathead V8 or Banger and Inliner OHV's are okay. Bikes are Pre EVO so anyone who raced in the TROG or with the PURE vintage guys can bring their car or bike up. We encourage you guys to dress warm beccause this is on the Hill and also have good gripping period style tires as we will be racing in a filed covered in packed SNOW Hopefully! There will be burn barrels going to help people stay warm. The races are going to be held on Feb. 18th as shown on the flyer.

Sometimes I miss upstate N.Y., especially when there are deals like this going on! This sounds like Great Fun as long you dress for it and the Sun is Shining. Please post pics/videos if possible.

The Races will begin at 10:00 am and go on until 4-5 pm ish

2 Days away can't wait!

I told a handful of guys with cars and motorcycles that fit the bill about it.

I got the usual excuses for not going-
"It's too far to drive." or
"That's the same day as my cousins ex wife's nephew's son's high school Tic-Tack-Toe championship."

 

I'm driving 2 hours south to pick up a car, then driving 3 hours north to the track. See you there!

As well as the guy down the road from where I work, he wishes his 1931 Indian was ready he just started putting it together.
