    Why didnt you choose to use the SBC waterpump? Looks great.

    Because the fan on the stock Dodge water pump ended up perfectly centered in the radiator. The chebbie water pump conversion would have lowered the fan too much.

    Also, the motor was an old Gopher rebuild that ended up being passed around a few people before I got it. Nobody ever fired the motor up, and the pump had literally 0 hours on it. Pretty hard to throw a perfectly good pump away.
