I used to have "OL PHART"on my coupe. I tried to get "TYRFRYR" but DOT told me it was unavailable. It was on an undercover cop car.

I had AMC SUX on my dual quad sbc powered '70 Javelin. EZ PICKUP on a Ranger mini truck w/ sbc/4 speed (I was single & it pays to advertise). And currently WAY 2 LO on my '63 BelAir Wagon.

That wouldn't make much difference on my truck as it was so easy to spot and Id that I didn't get away with anything including parking it where I shouldn't be.
I always figure that If I don't want to get noticed or remembered I'll just drive a little white 4 door sedan with stock rims and tires and disappear off the face of the earth in plain sight.
I've got a thought for the plate for the 48 when it is done but will hold off saying anything. It does have a family nickname that my daughter stuck on it 36 years ago but that won't be what it gets.

I tried to get KLLRKOOP but the License Beureau decided it was too offensive. I ended up with RMBLKOOP

Years ago when I was a big city policeman the officers would write "none" on ticketed people or cars when there was no license displayed. Some guy came along that did not want a fancy cryptical sequence but wanted "NONE" for his license number.

Pretty neat idea until hundreds of warrant notices were mailed to him for unpaid traffic violations.

About the first thing my grandson ever said was "wassat" and point to something. What's that? He said it all the time. Source of my vanity plate.

Thought about going to the DMV and requesting a plate with "the name of my forebearers' ancestral home on the continent" - "chin gate". Figured they would have to bunch up the letters to fit space available which would produce "chingate". And I could add the written accent at a later date. Just saying.
