Starting the floor for a nice base. Floor needs a lot of love , got a sheet of 4x8 16g on its way to fix the edges and a few other spots.
Im gas welding this whole car . Having a lot of fun

I got a demonstration the other day at the "Recovery Center"- this method of welding is pretty impressive. This car is gonna be something...........

    Lookin' good, Brother!

Don't break the piggy bank yet, memory has been telling me that townie used the '35-'36 truck posts on a '32 - 3 window... not '33-'34 coupes...

Little bit of progress. Waiting fot the quarter panels to arrive before I cut or weld anything

Placed the 1935 ford trunk back sedan rear roof over the doors. Lots of work needed to the belt line area. Lots of metal to work with

Mine is all cast off junk from 33-4 sedan stuff. A little 4 door junk mixed with some Tudor doors and the rear quarters are made from a set of sedan fenders and home made body line section.

you're right it looks almost '32ish...the 2 dr is too bulbous and straight the '35 section has the correct angle and profile but its so tall from the beltline to the top and the body bead is different.... looks like if you cut the body bead out of the 2 dr. roof sections and welded them further up the '35 roof panel you'd be pretty close.

?...did you find the pass. side?
Which rear window is closest in size and shape to the 3W?

Im just messing around now. Theres going to be tons of slice and dice.
I'll use the 2dr belt line then blend it into the 35 belt line/top. Its going to be a radical chop

I still want to try my hand at a 5w from 4dr I have the parts as well. I also have a 2dr back half up for grabs!!!!

Basically building the car around the chopped doors. I really need to finish the floor and buy subrails before I move forward with anything. Time and $ which I dont have haha
