So I’m working on the wiring on my 55, getting ready for shakedown when my phone rings. It’s chip Gaines from fixer upper on hgtv. He said he wanted me to know that I cant use their name - it’s cooyrighted and I may have used it without conscent. Eat your heat out chip! My first vanity plate. * Note; not a true story- but sounded good in my twisted mind Let’s see your vanity!
No. I just got mine back from dmv. I’ve looked a while back and with the new pa website, you can try any combo and see if it would be available. Just happy to get it.
Motor vehicle departments are much more critical of vanity plates these days. Years ago one of the big car mags used to have a page of funny vanity plates that somehow got past the bureaucrats.

OT car but still one of the best I've seen. Big hair high maintenance blond driving a newer Mercedes AMG convertible - "WAS HIS" Sent from my iPad using H.A.M.B.
Friend of mine who is a very accomplished carpenter has INAILIT as his plate on his OT car. He's had to explain it to the cops on more than one occasion.
I currently have 'BIRDERS' on my OT daily. Have had 'OLDTECH' and '3TONFUN'. Have an 'ASSMAN' plate hanging in the garage. If I ever get my T done I'm gonna get 'HOOP T'.
I have BEEN200 on my daily driver and BVL2CLB on my pick up.....says it all to me. My sons current pick up has 4NCRSUC and it's been on his last 4. I have no idea how he snuck that thru. His daily driver has GO DALE3, he is a big Earnhart fan.
Vanity plates are cool, but the way I see it they are also easy to remember! If I should do something immature in one of my cars, I really don't want an easy plate to remember! Just a little cautious. KK
