I inherited an intake manifold with carbs from my dad he had a cpl 66 442's. It appears to be an L69. All the numbers seem to be right but there is an AL on the casting and off all the ones I've seen online(not that many) none have had AL. Anyone know what's up with that?? Thanks.
All the 442's I've seen have a single 4barrel. 3-2's were on 57- 371's to start and may have stopped in 58. I don't remember a 394" having 3-2's. 442's also were 400" to start and went to 455's. Good luck.
yup looks lagit wish it were mine. That's a lot more than I ever got from my ol man!!!! Thanks J S for a rambling uninformed Olds history...
Awesome thank you. I couldn't imagine him having anything other than the L69. I've heard stories of this my whole life lol
So I'm finding. I feel like I should probably sell it someone that will use it and enjoy it. I'm more a 1st gen Blazer fan.
A kid I went to high school with had a tri power ram air 442. His dad owned the Olds dealership in town and he went down the option list and special ordered it on dad's dime. 2 door post car . Ram air tri power ,4 speed ,4.33 posi . He was hard to handle on the street. It helped to sell a bunch of new 442's in the area.
