I have been doing battle with it since new years when wife infected me..

Trying to get out to garage to test fit too the jaguar rear end , Wilwood caliper aluminum adaptors I had made in Oregon, that take a dynalite 4 piston calipers that faces rearward and also holds the separate Wilwood mechanical spot brakes . Neat and tidy looking.

Guy that's shop its at does a lot of custom low rider and air bag fabrication, he has been messing on his computer and will have a custom rear suspension set up for me, was plasma cutting some parts tonight. We shall see where this goes but just didn't want a plain 4 link.

That's too bad about your flu - never had it once, gotta be luck. Keep us posted on this custom 4 link. Was your guy able to come up with a x-member yet if planned?

Still planning framing like my drawing for the most part, box frame, 2x2 square framing with some laser cutting design. Probably not what others would do but want it to be different.

was beavering away today test fitting the billet 6061-T6 aluminum Wilwood caliper brackets for jaguar rear ends . They were CNC cut in Oregon in preparation of selling a certain amount on ebay . They take a superior Wilwood 4 piston DYNALITE caliper and place it facing rearward and the WILWOOD mechanical spot brakes face to the front. They float on the caliper bracket in the U shaped pocket. There are 4 different machined thicknesses to the brackets.
This system is vastly superior to the 2 piston jag brakes.

We are also producing 6061-T6 billet 1/4" jacking plates that tie the lower side brackets together, greatly increasing the overall strength of the unit. We have already created special grade 9 side bracket bolts to replace the factory grade 5 units. They need to be safety wired which comes with the bolts.

    Here is some pictures of what I got done today................................mike DSCF3460.JPG DSCF3462.JPG DSCF3463.JPG DSCF3464.JPG DSCF3465.JPG DSCF3466.JPG DSCF3467.JPG DSCF3468.JPG

went surfing thru ebay late last nite and spotted this, emailed seller about length mounting surface to end of fins, 8 1/2". Went to storage unit and crawled underneath phaeton and measured it........damn, exactly 8 1/2' to gas tank. Figure I can get 1/8" less length reducing the mounting surface. Think this will end up under the 35 chevy roadster.

I will carefully blast this with very fine media and then get it powder coated a silver aluminum colour. Polishing one of these can easily run you $500---$1000 and they never get it all done right. Besides, if its shiny aluminum , somebody's going to have to crawl under it and clean it, pass me the power washer thank you. Also spotted one for a 63--79 corvette at a really good price.
