The above has a Whippet grille shell on it

 

The radiator and shell is from a 1920s Chrysler. Not Whippet.

GOOGLE A Whippet....closer than any 20s Chrysler

 

Just to inform....I used to own a 1926 Chrysler Model 58, so I know a Chrysler radiator shell when I see one. The Whippet shell tapers toward the top....Google 1924-1928 Chrysler and have another look. Here is the Whippet....

 

Found my photos of the old Foyil, OK salvage taken in the fall of '85.

 

I hope so too, but I doubt it. At the time I took that pic, 6-7 years ago, it was not for sale at any price.

It was very nice out today. So I met a friend for coffee and a little b.s.. On the way home I took all the back roads. Boy did it pay off. I saw this 59 Chevy wagon. There wasn't anyone home. BUT I'LL BE BACK!!! RON...

both the Vette's have been washed and are on Craigslist....for another attempt to sell the remains....

Hey, it's not like you're going to whittle a Corvette out of a block of wood or a Coke can ( and yes - I know Corvettes are fiberglass). Point is, ownership is 9/10ths of the law...

And

The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

I'd rather own the real deal with the intent of "fixing them up one day" and never getting around to it as opposed to never having it in the first place. Having the hope of fixing it up is more important to me than anything else. That's why we all save our junk & not sell it off - it's the idea of hope that makes life worthwhile.

 

And for some, doing things makes life worthwhile.
Do it or at least try before there's no more time.

I frequently walk by these two rigs just down the road. Finally remembered to take my phone with me for a picture. The truck is a Chevy and that's a Dodge 3 window hiding in the trees.
