Well, just over 9 years ago I sold my first hot rod an early A Banger Rpu.
My justification was that I had the parts to build another stashed away.
In the mean time I have drifted from project to project.... An A roadster with glass back turned OG tourer, which then got shelved- literally
Then a 40 pickup, turned 39 standard coupe ute - Aussie Bodied (cause I decided there were too many pickup's) then we had a baby, so this turned into a 39 std sedan - 4 door - which then turned into a 35 humpback - more door - because it was far further along - panel n paint... Exhausted? Anyway the sedan is a story for another time. ☺

The story at hand is a 'new' pile of RPU body parts bought & swapped cheaply, plus a dip into some parts in stock, a running banger chassis & a set of wires picked up today.
It'll be a beater, with the view to get it on the road as quickly as possible. Probably fully fendered, the tray/bed is a shortened & narrowed bed from a later pick up.

The last pics are of the sedan & where it is headed.
That ought to do it for now, thanks for now. 1506747445738.jpg 1506747490773.jpg 24774672_1490074824381415_1830424101899998947_n.jpg 20170902_172940.jpg 20170419_221519.jpg CCC-36-ford-sedans-jack-cooper-01.jpg

That is a cool thing Bob, I don't think this will be quite so tidy... Hopefully you will like what you see here.

I must say that my drifting from project to project has only led to a flow of parts coming & going. Finially I'm selttled with the projects, the 39std coupe ute has made its way to the USA. The 40 pickup has been claimed by my 5 yr old, so I just need to knuckle down & do something.

I really don't know. It is as I got it, I quite like the shape & length, some horrid things have been done to this body...

Well nothing much has happened since the last post, the poor ol dear has just had some more junk stacked on it...
However it is planned for a couple of weeks to have a lil thrash on it, at least so we can bounce around the block... without the body falling off!

Also have one that I just recently bought. On the hunt for 35 wires as I am not a fan of the 4wd look. Would like to find a Winfield cast head and dual intake as well.

We had a win over the weekend, a big effort from a bunch of folks, thanks for the 600mile round trip @edfueler!
We sorted the missing rear brake parts, tarted up the crusty body, got the tub mounted & a floor in it. My boys loved doing a lap in it :)

Some more pics, another job that was squeezed in was removing an 1/8th plate firewall & replace it with some stock pieces.

  28. Congrats Glenn! It must have been the weekend for first drives.
