Just got this news, so gutted. Spent an afternoon with Langy and Sue at their home while on holidays in the U.K. a few years ago. He was talented, funny, genuine, and will be greatly missed. R.I.P. mate. IMG_6018.JPG

Oh no. So very sad about this news. Although we didn't know him personally we enjoyed his build threads. What a very talented fabricator he was. Prayers for his wife and family

Is really a sad deal. Always enjoyed his builds and his talent. Best to his wife and family in what has to be a hard time.

  14. Oh, man, I am devastated. Steve and Sue are just the nicest people. I visited them and went to the Nsra Nats in England with them several years ago. We had a great time and I had one heck of a great ride back from the Nats in Sue's roadster. A fantastic adventure and time it was .... His fun loving attitude was infectious and we all know his rod building skills were just phenomenal.

RIP Steve - thank you for being my friend. You will not be forgotten but forever in my heart, mind, and thoughts .... my sincerest condolences to you Sue, and your family ...

Rest in Peace my internet friend. We never met but we communicated more than once or twice through this board.
To quote the movie: The last Samurai...
    I will miss our conversations

God speed sir... The Lord has a plan for us all, and yours has moved to the next chapter. I am sure you have found peace. My thoughts and prayers for your family. But - If a long haired sandal wearing guy in robes - who never get's feet wet, shows up with a Gasser (with incredible stainless work) ... we'll all know who's fault that is won't we ??

Terrible news. Like most others here on the HAMB, I did not meet Langy, but knew him personally thru the comments and banter posted in some of the threads. I have grown to admire his skills, and personality, and will miss him deeply. My thoughts and condolences go out to his close friends and family.
    RIP Steve!

Does anyone know what happened to Langy’s Willy’s? Such a cool build... Would love to see someone finish what he started! I’m sure Steve would too.

It is now owned by Shaun Hoyle, when I last saw it there was a sign on the back saying "Ripping it up for Langy"

Every time I see an old post that he contributed to, I wonder what he would be working on now. I know someone else has the truck, can we get some pics of it and maybe his other cars too?
