I believe that last pic is not a Willys - maybe '35 Plymouth?

LB I'm pretty sure that 545 A/GS Willys is George Montgomery.

Notice the fender extensions on Montgomery's and Engine Master's coupes. Anybody know who made those?

Here's an old pic that says Abilene on it. "Little Willy" on the door. Anybody with ID/history?
Other car says Bonham, Tx. Track could have been Caddo Mills, TX or Great Bend, Kansas, or Abilene? abilene.jpg

From what I know they put back what they took off. Those were the fiberglass fenders, I have the steel fenders that were cut and were not made back to stock.

See the fender extensions that continue down? I've never noticed these before. I guess they could be cut from running boards.

I now see that Montgomery's car had running boards of some sort, but look at these shorties.

RFraze I misunderstood, yes that is part of the running board that was cut off the board.

Looks odd to me, as if they "bobbed" the back of the car. That area seems too short. I wonder?
