    fits a furrowing attachment behind one of these- bolt is to pivot if it gets hung up (?)

    This actually belongs to a friend- I'm trying to convince him to restore it.
    You're right, they are cool as hell! I'm on a Model A site on facebook, and others from around the country have sent pics of theirs

    The part is a planter "shoe." They varied in size and shape depending upon soil type as well as desired depth and width. My guess is that most Planet Jr owners had a variety of shoes to switch out on their planters depending upon what they were planting.

    Actually got mine from one of the area garbage dumps. Had it loaded and gone in less than an hour of it getting dropped off there. Should have seen the looks we got loading it up

    Several people suggested it was for a planter. Then Vimtage Iron identified it as from a Planet Jr. planter. All I did was take that info and googles images until I found it.

    This hood came with the model A that i bought . The car came with some parts from other cars.
    someone installed two small scoops in the front of the hood.
    Can any one id it?

    All you need now is another 19-29 of them, and you can go into the seed planting business. Looks like the HAMB did't get stumped. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.
