Against the law in Mich --by looks of the W/S. 6 .5" MINIMUM SIZE W/S GLASS. btw save your drop pieces i did to in case someone else needs them to go back up with the top not likely but its happened before bob s I built mine--- completely accept for the trans - wanted to show you a picture over 30 years ago. I see you saved all 3 hinges, Smartest thing you could do. Steel doors begin to sag over time on 2 hinges,BTW thats one sweet 3-window , for the great shape its in bob s
Flop, truly amazing work once again. Forget metal shaping workshops, I'll pay to hangout, get the coffee and hand you tools.
I have to make a die for the pull max to reshape the reveal to make it flow a little nicer . Then just weld it all back up . Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Pullmax! That never got any camera time, guess that is were the great body beads that match the factory ones come from. Have a Happy New Year! Bob
Well it’s not actually a pull max it’s a Japanese knock off from the early 60s called a vibroshear Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Vibro-shear. Sounds like a fun man-scaping device. < cough > < cough > Sorry Flop. Bring on the Bondo ! ( not. ) I'm ready.
I chopped mine the same way.Only thing i see is great metal work.....but i know this for a factFirst are you running 3 stock hinges? If yoy are you can't eliminate the top hinge The door because of the way the door opens- once chopped it tends to drop the door ...if they are steel also. Been there! done that! on 2- 32 3-windows.but kept the top hinge intact no sag after 33 years ago.on this yellow deuce. I had under a quart ---of mud with 3 other coats- and "allmetal," Chevette roof turned sideways is perfect fit should use chevete 4-dr. sorry I got carried away abit-but I have a love for the Deuce I've done 3 of them completely accept for the transmisions
Looks like the same box i have in my backroom.Something happens to me they will get thrown out i'm sure. Heard of an older a guy who raised the top back up!. ONLY one i ever heard of bob s looks good flop
The middle hinge is what was removed in the last one I did . Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Back seam welded up where the side of the car meets the center window section . Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Other seam is done Love the back window on this one Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Solid pillars all the way around for piece of mind . Safety first . Body lines washed out for some reason Stock 3w Gonna use the piece I cut out for the body line . Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Filled in a lot of blanks . Totally reshaped reveals so they flow into themselves better Last weld on the pillar tying the roof and header back into the pillar . Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I totally know who to call if I ever want to “raise the roof” as you my friend have nearly enough pieces to breed a whole other body .
Other door top on . Gaps need work as this side was a bit screwy when I got the car A pillars are now both solid . Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Flop, just wondering......do you have some sort of waiting list? Doesn't see like there are many craftsmen with you skill level. Keep up the great work, and keep posting!
