Mine is from a plaque on the dash my friend's '36.

I like it so much I painted in on the back bumper of my motorhome.

Mine isn't funny or thought provoking, but I liked the tangent (with this place) about the undeniable effects of the uninhibited spread of knowledge and ideas.

Just a few that come to mind:
"I spent lots of money on cars, broads, and booze; the rest I just wasted"
"I started out with nothing, and I've still got most of it"
    " I'm not a Technician, I'm a f#cking mechanic!"

I like mine which was pretty much an accident.
I took a simple digital photo of a 1933 Ford V8 truck badge resting it on a piece of old lumber and this is how it turned out.
No photo shop or fancy tweaking.
Taken in Boulder CO approx. 2007 from memory.
Must have been that Rocky Mountain sunshine haze that made the difference....

Somebody used to have "If it ain't broke, I can't afford it", I always liked that one, forgot whose it was though.

  24. I saw one on another forum that said, "If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is!"

    I thought that was fitting.

You can always count on American’s to do the right thing, after they’ve exhausted every other possible option!

I like my father in laws saying. "IT'S THESE OLD CLOTHES THAT MAKE ME LOOK DUMB"
Not sure what I was drinking when I came up with mine.
