I think mine came from an ad I saw in Rolling Stone Magazine in the early 70’s, or did it?
Really can’t remember,I know at the time it was words to live by

 

My just reflects upon how as an old curmudgeon, I don't like the new technology taking over my life.

 

Mine came from, who knows where... I change it around now and then.

 

I was at a car show and this guy pulled in looking for a parking spot and yelled out, "WHERE DO I PARK? MY WIFE DIDN'T COME WITH ME TODAY!"

 

Good Source, that's where mine came from. Seemed appropriate for some builds, mine included

Mine is from a plaque on the dash my friend's '36.

I like it so much I painted in on the back bumper of my motorhome.

 

Mine isn't funny or thought provoking, but I liked the tangent (with this place) about the undeniable effects of the uninhibited spread of knowledge and ideas.

 

... Reminds me of "MY WIFE DOES THE DRIVING ... I JUST STEER" ...

Like a lot of you, I change mine from time to time. It's usually borrowed/stolen from someone else on here and I always give 'em credit for their wisdom.

I like mine which was pretty much an accident.
I took a simple digital photo of a 1933 Ford V8 truck badge resting it on a piece of old lumber and this is how it turned out.
No photo shop or fancy tweaking.
Taken in Boulder CO approx. 2007 from memory.
Must have been that Rocky Mountain sunshine haze that made the difference....

Somebody used to have "If it ain't broke, I can't afford it", I always liked that one, forgot whose it was though.

 

I saw one on another forum that said, "If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is!"

I thought that was fitting.
