The only thing missing is the junk yard Dog....................................... or is it!
Just like the real deals back in the day I could and have spends days crawling around a junk yard as a kid. Now I to find myself going back to look at your work, you must have lived it going by the detail work!

  4. Might be a 1950s yard with that tri-five Chevy fender in the bed of the pickup....I could hang out all day long in THAT yard.

It will be seen now!! Very cool.. Looks like you've been in a junk yard or two to make it that realistic....

I almost didn't open this thread because I thought it was going to be another BS barn-find auction... glad I did, very nice work.

I have a couple hundred of early Ford models, a few 'built'. Your diorama is superb. Detail is so realistic it could be taken for the real thing.
What mfr. is the '48 Stude pickup? Monogram, maybe? Looks like 1/24 or slightly larger? Love to find one of those kits.

its a 1/25 scale metal ertel limited edition truck. just had to have one in the yard !!!!!!!! the doors open. it had a bunch of dumb logos on it so I sanded and primed it to weather it.

  23. As a old model builder you have done a fantastic job. Naturally a labor of love.

You guys really need to see it in person and study it for awhile to see all the little details. It is definitely cool and he has already agreed to "will it" to me!

Very cool! It wouldn't take much imagination to look at your diorama and believe you were seeing a real scene...and your 56 is beautiful!
