What a great photo of a true sportsman. I can understand putting your logo on this post but I
bet this is impressive matted and framed (without a watermark).

Bob was one of my favorite pro stock drivers. Back in the early 90's I would go to Seattle Raceway and stand in his pits and watch Bob and his wife and his son wrench on the car between rounds. Very low key operation. I thought that was awesome. Prayers to the family. RIP Bob. Great memories.

Back in the 80's and 90's when the NHRA Trail came up to Seattle, Woodburn Dragstrip here in Oregon would have Pro Stock race in the middle of the week. You could compare the length of lines to get autographs, Bob's line was at least twice as long as anyone else. I remember when he had a man to man talk with one of his Sons about cheating with Nitrous. He took the kid in his trophy room, and boldly stated, "I didn't have to cheat to win any of this ! ". He was a true innovator, driver and gentleman ! RIP Mr. Glidden.

As was in the family's' statement Bob is now pain free, he will be missed.

Saw Bob passing the football with his boys in the pits at SIR in 1979, nice to see the family man side of your heroes, you don't see that anymore in the big show.
I went to a number of those "hooky Wednesdays" at Woodburn too Marty, boy those were something, the best of the best, at arms reach, good times.

Raced against him in Super Stock. Proud to see how well he did over the years. No one worked harder or was a more honorable racer. He will be missed.

A true legend has left us, with fond memories of just how great he was.
He will be remembered as my favorite Pro Stock driver, being a Ford fan.
Thoughts and prayers to all his family on this sad day.
