Dad built this car starting in the late 50’s, from a sedan, as a complete coupe wasn’t available, only the back half. he’s had a few flatheads in this car since the beginning, and has more than 500,000 miles on the car... he’s also been thru some major health issues last couple of years, so there was a long period when the car didn’t get much love... this past spring and summer, he’s bounced back, and we were able to get motor pulled and rebuilt, and also swapped in a 5” dropped drilled chrome axle... I’ll put up some pics shortly...

Ha just a little tongue in cheek.. I never used to hear of anyone starting with a sedan, and ending with a coupe, but there are quite a few build threads last few years, and all that I’ve seen have turned out super!

    Talented kid indeed...
the A sedan doors are 1.75" longer that coupe, making the new body longer...
the sedan's doors are 1" taller from the top hinge up...
the sedan's subfloor angles outward to support the wider sedan body...
roof above the doors are different by 1"...
sedan's quarter windows are the same inch taller ...
.... he made it look great !
