That 32 pontiac is very cool. The first hot rod my Dad ever built was a 31 Pontiac coupe. I remember riding in the rumble seat going to car shows as a kid.

What did Santa bring that is gonna move that Poncho up to A gas?

Looks like I get to upgrade my rear end this winter. To much fun over thanksgiving weekend. Tore the spider gears out of the limited slip. I am thinking about going to a Eaton true trac and new axles. Anyone have a recommendation on axles?

Used Moser for years for my custom rear end needs, Then I tried a competitor , not a happy camper. So back to Moser and never looked back. Price is not the best part of a parts choice! Larry

I would go with a gun drilled Mark Williams.

  12. I have had good luck with Moser axles. Strange did stand behind the axles I broke on the thee passes, but that's another story.

I run 31 in my willys. But that's because the locker that's in the quickchange is 31 I've not run 35 before so I can't say if they even make a differential with 35 I know most guys who run 35 use a spool which is the best scenario for drag racing

  17. There is a 35 spline Detroit Locker. Lots of fun on the street, especially on wet roads and turns. Have one in my 56 with Moser Axels. All good. Spool if strip only.

I have run Moser for many years now. Never a problem. My Model A has 35 spline with a spool and I drive it on the street.

Thanks. It’s a new build so I have no idea how it will run. It’s got plenty of motor but original style suspension.

Don't think we will get one and that's okay with me.
Most people on the roads up here can't navigate clear and dry roads.
And for now it looks like the only thing santa has for me is my wounded 409 block. :(

I heard that it's still for sale. This was last Thursday when I picked up my rear axel housing from Ron Folk's.
