Nice article and good of you to give a shout out to ROY RIP. Hey putting it up isn't bragging most of us would give our eye teeth to have even one photo in a mag article.

 

My friend Chris came over and did the engine compartment for me, starting to come together. I took out the dodge a100 seats and put a kirkey low back race seat in. It looks pretty good. It will be safer and stronger.

Aeromotive fuel tank with in tank pump and top side sending unit. Got it all fitted to the factory fuel filler

 

Do you want to sell the ''289 '' bird emblems?

 

You can buy them new from here, I gave mine to my 2 year old for his pedal car.

 

A little progress on the motor, once I get it back I can get the brakes done. I think I need to relocate the master cylinder, but won't know for sure until the motor is in

 

Hell of a shot those intake ports look HUGE

NICE Rocker setup. Now no excuses if you forget which side is which.

 

Curious as why you are not using the rocker shaft end stands.
Maybe not enough valve spring to need them?

 

Will those gold valve covers fit over them rockers?

 

With the roller cam, there is only 150 on the seat and 325 open so my engine builder didn't think they were necessary.. Nice catch though!

 

As far as I can tell... yes! If not I have some thunderbolt chrome ones that should.
