Technical Any one recognize these Merc caps?

    Someone added Ford spinners along the way...but I am trying to determine what year/model Merc. they originally came from.

    NOT 56 .i have some like these but they have ford centers. 56 has 4 bars .

    They ARE '56 Mercury caps....just the standard non-flipper style with later Ford 3 bar flippers added.. The '56 Merc 4 bar flippers were most often seen on Montclair models......cheapy Medalist had poverty caps. So, basically three caps were used on 56's.

    They look like the ones on my 53 (Canadian - my first car, a hand down that went through several
    family members)).

    The '52/ '53 caps are similar at a glance, but with one significant difference. The '52/'53 have a convex center (tapers outward) whereas the '56 caps are concave. They both have concentric rings and a 'Mercury' head emblem stamped into them.
