Plus a ‘37 flathead chassis that will no doubt get some kind of ‘36 body. Probably a 2 door sedan.

Dooley, did you get your tranny fixed? Is it driveable yet??

  4. Holy shit Dooley, last time I saw a shot of your car it was in primer. Looking damn fine... now go out and put some chips in that shiny paint.

    :D

Have a 35 5-window, but no good pictures and it needs a make over. I'll try to get some this weekend and post them for you.

Hey, you been holding out? What's the story? I dig it.

  13. Yeah, just got it a month or so ago.

Pretty sad shape but to the best of my knowledge it was chopped in the sixties, then poorly chaneled in the seventies and never finished. I have a rough but saveable pair of rear fenders (radiused arches) and three front fenders (two lefts) that are pretty rust free but in need or some TLC. All the inner garnish moldings except the inside windshield and upper header interior panel, dash, deck lid, hood, grille, and some other misc parts.

I have a '53 Chrysler HEMI for it and am semi-activly looking for some neato custom stuff.

As soon as my Sportster hits the road I will tear into my "extra" chassis then start putting some floor back under it.

    Elp, nice start.

50Fraud, I have the Hop Up that car was in right in front of me, it is for sure one of the best 36 Fords I can recall.

Django, what you can't find a roadster too?

  16. Funny you should mention that,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I had a gentleman come in the shop last week. He heard I had gotten this three window and wanted to see it. We got to talking and told him that my car had come up in conversation with HotRodRon. I was telling him I really REALLY wanted a 36 Roadster, he responded with "too bad you don't want a three window" so long story short I bought this car. After relaying the story this gentleman says would I be interested in trading for his roadster project?

From what I understand it was a touring with a three window back half grafted on. I plan on at least taking a look at it in the very near future..

Haha, well Dooley, I can find 'em, I just can't afford 'em!

I was real close to buying a pheaton cowl and back half for that '37 frame. But where the hell do you find doors for a 4 door phaeton? Shit, I can barely afford coupe/roadster rear fenders these days. Glad I found some when I did for the cabrio.

With all these coupes and the cabrio, I am going to be screwed when we start having kids. I better start working on my Dad to let me tinker with the 4 door!

    Wow, that is great ElPolako.

  18. mine keeps stopping and starting (damn life getting in the way), dante has my front fenders and the body work is almost done. i'm slowly plugging along. it does show my new (to me) 46-47 olds hubcaps.

What size are your rear tires 1oldtimer? They are really sucked into the frame.
