Is that an Anglia front end under that sedan?

It looks like it, I think those ar Anglia wheels. An interesting thing about threads like this is that we get to play detectives and then someone comes up with that "ah ha" moment.

There is a lot in that photo which suggests to me that car never made it to the point of being race worthy. Maybe that's why it does not show up elsewhere.

  4. The axle looks too heavy to me to be Anglia or Prefect but Fordson, they look similar to a Model A. The brakes look too big to be Anglia. Fordson, Anglia and Prefect all use the same wheels. I have a Prefect axle and 35 Willys so I may have a measure and see. JW

    I think it's too narrow for a model A.

  14. Any idea where or when this photo was taken? I've never seen it with this paint job before and it looks to have a modern shotgun scoop. Last I saw of this car it was sold on ebay in primer over 10 years ago

  17. Looks Fordish. Kinda impresses me with their technical knowledge; they replaced the parallel leaves which generate big bump steering problems, especially at speed, with a cross-spring which pretty much eliminates that problem. Chuck Finders did that on a lot of his Willys Chassis.

Well the person in the picture appears to have a MSRA shirt.

I never could quite "buy in" to the hardtop look.

This is a modern build. It says Oddy's automotive on the rear quarter. Built by John Faust from the northeast it's been posted before in color. Burgundy lace paint with gold beltline stripe.
