The 31 Coupe I got from Chris Casny has been on the cover of Rolls & Pleats, PowerGlide, and was a Rod & Custom feature car. Also was in Dead End magazine. He pretty much built the whole thing by himself - there was a pretty extensive HAMB build thread.

It’s been quite a few years since one of my cars saw print. I have been fortunate enough to have had two of my Comet’s featured in a few mag’s and the cover once. Maybe after the now in progress reincarnation the ‘64 will see some more ink.

Does this count? My minute of fame! This appeared in one of the last R&C mags before the latest shutdown. My first ride, and my current one - separated by almost 60 years! temp.jpeg

This picture is from a British Magazine. I fooled around for an hour at Bonneville moving the roadster around so they could take pictures. Said they were going to do a feature and would send me a copy. Never did. A HAMB member from Australia copied the picture from his mag and sent it to me, Frank Oddo liked this car and put it in Street Rod Magazine several times. It even made a tiny picture in TRJ once. The red coup also made 8 magazines that covered nostalgia drags and El Mirage. The Vega was once on the front page of National Dragster. Right behind the car they were taking a picture of.

Had my 32 roadster in Popular Hot Rodding in 73 then in 74 or 75 Neal East chased me down at the NSRA nats in Minneapolis to shoot my 32 sedan and trailer. He said he really didn't care about the car but the trailer was really bitchin. That ended up on the cover of Rod Action. Later in 79 my yellow deuce 5 window was on the cover of Street Rodder and in the center fold of Hot Rod. Damon Lee shot my primered 32 pu for a nice feature in Oct 05 Rod And Custom. Later Damon shot my then fresh 32 roadster for a feature in #10 Hop Up, the last issue Mark Morton published. Also there were some good features of the NSRA 04 giveaway truck I built in Street Scene and Street Rodder. I've had 3 cars featured in Street Scene after displaying them in the builders showcase. I've had a good run.

I forget what magazine it was, but there is a small pic and a caption of my parents getting pulled over at the St. Ignace show because my mom was riding on the convertible boot off my dad's 68 Shelby
