For anyone considering using the small French v8 ,Know that the "Aqualon" engine is a different block than the v8 60 ! A favourite with the speedway guys ,as the heads and intake from the "60" , do fit . The French block has a centre exhaust baffle cast in ,as in the big Rouge 337 lincoln , a half scallop reliefin the transfer area intake valve ,way different sump ,bellhousing and water pump . Stuff like that .
Super hot.............I like it....I remember when I was young hangin' around neighborhood body shops and saw this kind of work goin' on....that's what got me interested!
Vedette, you continue to make very challenging work seem effortless! Your design tastes fall right into the traditional, but are also unique - a very difficult style to achieve - well done! Nali, a few folks have asked how the spray chrome held up over time. The answer came in French and I wonder if you could pass along the answer in English for us? Thanks! I don't know how I missed this thread for so long - but.. Merci et bon! Dave
Kool pete! des projets? Thanks Dave! For the chrome, It holds well in the time.. (now 7 years) the fake chrome sticks well! no problem.. and vive la France!
