Mike - this is awesome beyond words - CONGRATS MAN! I didn't think you were gonna get the BB going that fast! Still thought you had to go through more wiring - transmission - brakes and then some! Lanny will be AMAZED when he looks at your video!

Thanks Mike! Yes I went through the brakes and everything else as I was waiting on engine parts and the like. Wanted to be ready to go as soon as the opportunity presented itself!

I have a couple of in car vids my wife took. Neither of us can seem to get into the YouTube account so I may have to start another!

TELL HIM TUCK!!! From what I know, you take a video with your smart phone, create a video on YouTube, then copy the link from YouTube, then paste it on our threads. But Tuck, Mike mentioned that he tried to post their videos on YouTube, but were unsuccessful. By the way, I'm stoked watching your build of the '31 Drag Car, just subscribed. Tuck, are you the dude who owned a roadster with very unique headers and featured in the "Mad Fabricators" series videos?

 

I wasn't even born yet... Born two years later Stogy - missed the entire car culture - 50's, 60's and 70's... Trying to do my best making up for it.

You are not at all alone Mike...I was an often referred to as terrible 2 then...so my ole hotrod is my time machine back to then to dream a little albiet it was an inspired hotrod not as @cactus1's BB real deal.
That said I feel the builder of my car pulled it of in style.

Speaking of Cactus has he complied with @Tuck's subtle demand...

I had emailed the first one to him earlier in the day. I heard back from him tonight. I think he is as giddy as I am? Ha!

 

No that's my buddy Bob Bleed- we built my first roadster in his shop and was one one of the early videos called the Tuckster (-; good times!

My dream is to some day introduce my roadster to the Batchelor Button in hopes they hit it off, and hatch roadster babies. ️️

Everyone knows the reason farm boys built roadsters was to get chicks.
