  3. [IMG] I believe this was also one of Jeff Beck's dueces, on loan to George Harrison for the photo shoot.

  6. If you're not familiar with Danny Gatton, here's a story of his obsession with cars and guitars.

As for his '56 "Unfinished Business" Crown Vic, the car seemed to be in good hands and in nearly completed condition in Elko, Nevada in 2007. But I haven't come across anything more online about it's more current whereabouts.

  10. A local boy, lived across the river from me. I never met him but I knew one of his band members. Billy Hancock was quite good himself and still tours to this day. He helped me wrench on my car on his way to a gig. All of them were into cars at one time or another.

Steve Bonge (currently president of the NYC HAMC) acquired the Model A coupe from Brian Setzer (they are both from Long Island), probably in the early 90s. The Muncie from the coupe was one of the last gearboxes Paul from 5Speeds.com rebuilt on Long Island before moving to Florida.
The coupe was black with traditional flames, the same as Bonge's Harley and 50s Olds, so I was surprised when Steve said he was repainting it purple; but he is also a Beatnick so maybe that explains the purple. I don't know if the car was ever put back together, or if Bonge still owns it.

Mostly a throw away reply but for those of us who were in our late teens at this time, Craig was a huge name in stereo. LOL. If you had a Craig, you were doing OK........the thing I find odd here, is that they put an 8 track in the car. Cassette was more state of the art at the time and you would have thought that they would have went with that.

The dragster on Dick Dale's 'Mr. Eliminator' is Tony Nancy's 22 JR.

    Anybody know where it is?
