    That looks like it could be Ed Elisian leaning over behind the car on the right. Was this photo taken at Oakland Stadium?

    It is Oakland and I thought that might be Elisian too but it's just not clear enough to say for sure.

    The driver of the #4 car is Dan Daniels a URC shoe back in the early 60s.

    Are we looking at one of the first tube chassis to ever run INDY, the Harry McQuinn driven Carl Marchese #45 that finished in 7th place in 1938 ? Car is in Connecticut now and owned by a HAMB member that doesn't post often. Bob

    This what I'd call a "Gow Job". It actually a little in '47 to be one but the thought of the late 20's and 30's is there. These are and were not what are rr's today...
