  2. Does the guy in the corner on the stairs ever help, or does he just stand there?

Not sure about mounting the motor and trans on rubber with the rear end mounted solid.

Engine and trans are able to move via the torque tube coupling. This is the same way tons of tanks are done.

Where to you sit? Ahead of the engine or over the driveshaft?

120% as usual you crazy son-of-a-gun! Lookin' PISSAH!

Don't mean to side step YOUR post, but here's a pic of the Barillaro's bomber from a couple of years ago so the uninitiated can see which end goes first!

Mike any idea as to why the Airstream trailer in the background was up on a stand of some sort? I saw that when I was there for the races and wondered what the story was behind that.

Is that approximate ride height? You'll be able to Bo Duke right in there!

It should be about 4" off the ground . Actually higher then most tanks but I don't wanna get stuck in the sand.

I was looking through some other belly tank pictures and the tube frame that some of the guys built back then, rather than having a water tank taking up space they ran the water through the frame tubes. I think that's what I am going to do. Make a filler neck with a radiator cap. I don't think I'm going to make a build thread because I don't want to take away from anyone else's. haha!

Also are you gonna make the clutch lever/pedal hydraulic or cable driven for the side shift?

[IMG][IMG][IMG]hacked up a model T crossmember and finally got the car up on 4 wheels. Decided to ditch the wavy axle idea for this project . It just weighs too much and at some point I plan to cover the front axle with a fairing. I think I'll use it in a dirt track T build in the future......
