Looking the whole Olds Roadster over and then remembering that there once was a an Olds powered 55 Corvette owned by a very famous/friendly photographer from HRM’s Glory Days. (Mr. E.Rick Mann aka Eric Rickman).

So in a sense an Olds Powered Roadster did get built . Still one of my faves and must have been E.L. Cord’s as well as he had a disassembled concept Olds until his death in 1974.
Not sure of the details, read somewhere that it had been assembled at some point.

Looked for way more info: It did get built and went thru some famous hands. At the time of the article Gordon Apker owned it, not sure now???

 

This is a photo from last year. About a mile and a half west of Grand Forks ND. About 6-800 cars and they are no more. A couple weeks ago a crusher showed up and last I drove but the acreage was almost bare. They could have made 5-10 more money at auction.
