I for one appreciate every little cut, weld, hole, and, color.
It is just a car. Even being a die hard car guy. Every one of these cars and trucks we own are just that. To do with as we please. A freedom of expression on four wheels.
Thank you for sharing your art with us Brian.

I'll bet you'll never hear anyone that started out with nice original steel say "I sure wish I had started with a POS instead".

The museums are full. If you want a cherry, unmolested stocker, pony up the cash.

The drama is fake, for ratings. Producers saw how well it worked when Paul Sr. and Paul Jr. did it for real, that they all want it now.

Wow, what a build! Brian Bass..... with you obviously being a perfectionist,,, is there anything on this build that you are dissatisfied with or wish you would have done a little differently?

Pretty sure the 'wrap-up' episode is on tonight. Here's a thought. If the Bass featured episodes rank high ratings for the F&L franchise to date, might there be chance some hot-shot producer would take note &.....hmmm.
    I'd like to see it.

It’s pretty crazy how much flop the blue paint on this car has depending on its surroundings.

Watching the episode now. Glad to get to see it as I’m not sure when we might get to see it at home in Canada. (Canadian discovery channel is different than the US)

I’m probably going to get to meet Richard Rawlings tomorrow (he’s going to be at the AWS Fabtech show here in Chicago)

That should be interesting since I visited Brian Bass at his shop in Dallas a few years ago.

I even wore one of my Bass custom t shirts today

Did anyone notice another HAMBER assisting in the build on the show right after Fast and Loud, Max Grundy??

Brian, the '34 drag style 5 window coupe is a masterpiece of coolness - much congrats to your retro style of the 60's personified! The final build episode had to be the very best GMG show to date! Like many others, didn't really enjoy watching the series, unless it featured some vintage builds. Speaking of which, that white bad ass Model A you were sitting on with the four deuces higher than the cowl grabbed my attention as well!

Did you notice a few . . . well a few more than normal cool vintage cars. The truck I kept seeing. A red Model A on the lift. Are those future builds?

I agree with you. This car is a masterpiece.

  26. The red, full-fendered '32 (i.e., not a '30-'31 Model A) Roadster on the lift is a car that Richard (@gasmonkey) Rawlings purchased "off the Interwebs" (i.e., bought it off an eBay Estate sale).

Richard ended up selling it to another Dallas HAMBer ... Guy (@guy1unico) Weintraub.

Be sure to checkout Guy's Northern Cali Deuce Roadster Info Needed thread.

Holy Crappola! I'm glad that I dvr'd the show. Hopefully, they included some running/ driving shots, because visually this car just Rocks!!!!!!!

  30. Bob, thanks for the pic- my dad and I used to work with Chris Gans when he first bought Nicholas Smith Trains :)

CoronetRTguy- K&G Speed Shop would be Chris Gans' place in Havertown, PA about 25 minutes west of Philadelphia. My guess is he was a Main Line guy.
