Thanks for the great pictures! Wish I could have been there. It's 40 degrees and raining here in Pittsburgh, Pa, miserable day!

  2. I'd be interested in info on the yellow roadster in the first pic. It looks like the roadster formerly owned by a friend in NC.

The sedan belongs to Joe Mitchell, the roadster is Tom Virden. Both are from Havasu Deuces. Tom's roadster has probably 200,000 miles on it and he drives it everywhere, (usually with the top off, and has had it for 30+ years). Joe's sedan hass had a lot if massaging by Ryan Reed and Joe is not only the driving force of the Havasu Deuces Facebook by past member of the LA Roadsters. www.havasudeuces.com

  7. Here's the pictures I took, but there may be some duplicates. It was a great day, 121 registered Deuces, which was down from the last two years, probably because it was pretty warm there (92 degrees!). I was glad to head back up to the cooler climate of Prescott.

Mike DeVriendt and I trailered our old gennies down for a change. Mikes Model B Woody and my original V-8 5W Coupe.

Howard Goehring (formerly from Sioux Falls, SD and owner of Howard's Corvettes) brought his barn find Model B 5W Coupe. It was his grandfathers neighbors car and Howard first laid eyes on it in 1953 when he was a young boy. He has wanted it ever since and finally reconnected with the grandson who was farming Howard's grandfathers land to buy it.

  11. Tom, although my pics are a feeble attempt at photography with my cell phone, how would you handle the full sun in this situation? It basically was just from 9 AM to 1 PM.

Great show. Dave puts out great shows at his dealership. Look out for the rockabilly show Nov, 11th at Sanderson ford in Glendale Az.

  17. My friend, the tireless George Walker and the Early Ford V-8 Club members and their wives of Phoenix deserve the lion's share of the credit for putting on this event for the last 11 years. They put a lot of hours into this and do it all as volunteers. All proceeds benefit The Early Ford V-8 Foundation & Museum in Auburn, Indiana, which is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit, educational organization dedicated to “Preserving 1932 – 1953 Early Ford V-8 History”. We can all learn from their selfless devotion to our love of old Fords. Of course it is a great partnership with Sanderson Ford who provide a great venue to hold this event and open their museum to all who attend. Sanderson Ford is a historic dealer in their own right and its great see their contribution and continued interest in supporting the preservation of the history of the Ford V-8. If you are looking to purchase a new Ford, support Sanderson Ford with your business!

George Walker at Arizona Deuce Day in 2015. Thanks George!

My Deuce Tudor is out of commission, so I was in the "other" section with my '29 Model A Woodie.

Our favorite event since the beginning. This was the first Deuce Day that we've missed - back in Iowa for my sister and her husband's 50th Anniversary. Lot's of THANKS to George and Nancy [the hostess with the mostest!] for all of these great shows. Thanks to all those Hot Stuff Deuce Day 09.jpg who posted all the great photos. Missed you all... the Duffeys.

Looks like to keep the head lights in position.

  25. Is that a linkage so the light rotates with the steering?
