As I posted much earlier in this thread, I am amazed at the number of 32's that survived WWII. But then a lot of them survived here in the USA also.

    Per Google Translate:
Ford Model B as a second-door driver. The only offered model of this series in the EU. Ready with registration. The Ford was currently assembled in Denmark and imported to Germany this year. The body is in a surprisingly good unsecured condition. There is no rust. The gear (partially synchronized) switches smoothly. The engine (matching numbers) is fantastic. The three-color finish is very good. The interior is well maintained. The tires as well as the radiator are new. The entire electrics, brakes, etc. are all right. These models are very much sought after even in the USA but in the original condition hardly to get. The large travel suitcase to be seen on a photo, as well as the luggage bridge are of course included.

Wondering what it would cost to get the above car imported to Nebraska?

Reposting a picture of Herve Ditner's Tudor, just to show what can be done with this model. Note Bugattis around it.

    About $2500.

  11. The asking price of $31834.54 US Dollars plus shipping of $2500.00 seems fair for such a rare car in pretty nice condition.

    .
57snrf, where did you get this photo from?
This Model B belonged to me a long time ago, purchased it in 1967 stock with 24 hp four, swapped in a 21 stud flathead, 39 box,Lincoln Zephyr brakes, Mercury 15" wheels that I reversed the rims, 6.70X15 tyres, wanted 8.20s on the rear but couldn't afford them, I sprayed it Apricot Metalflake with black wings ( fenders in US ) . Had fun with it in the summer of 68, decided I didn't like the 80 grit Metalflake finish, not enough lacquer,so I started stripping it, got part of the rear stripped and my Father came into the garage to tell me Mother has had a stroke and passed. So with this to cope with I lost a bit of interest in the B. Not long after when I was still down somebody offered me money for it so I sold it.
As I've done since with other cars I regretted selling it and always wondered what happened to it, I found out 45 years later.
A friend took me to meet his friend Jerry Denning a local Rod builder and I started telling him about the Model B I'd built back in 67/68 I told him I had sprayed it Apricot Metalflake, he then said did it have this and that and I said yes , he said I think that's the same car I'm going to rebuild for somebody, he fetched his camera and showed me a photo of my old Model B. I was shocked to say the least quite emotional in fact, it was like finding a long lost friend.
I have more to tell if anybody is interested and photos, need to get on my main computer for photos, you will have to make do with my avatar photo for now.
    Martin.

  16. I feel your pain B. I deeply regret selling my hot rod too. It's living on your side of the pond now.

Martin, this is why I love digging for old pictures. These old cars have so many stories to tell!
Thanks for posting. History... That's what this forum is all about.
I'm pretty sure I found this picture on Facebook. I run a page called "Euro Deuces" (though I'm having issues connecting as the Administrator for some reason). Feel free to check it out.

Thanks 57snrf. I'm not on Facebook but my good lady is, I'll get her to have a look.
I will try to get some more pictures of the B as it is now,may take a while as the new owner died soon after it was finished, his son now has it so I will try to make contact with him.
    Martin.
