  2. That's one way to get the garage cleaned! What are you doing with his other car?

  3. You should paint it black, call it "Garbage Man" and go after "White Trash".

He hasn't decided yet. I think he secretly just wants to race against you Robert.

Hey Zak, I was searching for 57 gassers and came across your build. Great looking sedan! I am typically not a fan of 57's without the side trim but your car made me change my opinion. I will enjoy going back through your build. Here is a pic B coupe project. [IMG]

So your dad decided that the Anglia was a little small for him? I saw the picture of him with his foot on the clutch pedal. Looked pretty cramped. I am having some of the same issues with my Morris Minor build, but I am too far into it to change directions. Good thing he found it out now.

He's not completely decided what he's gonna do yet, but he really wants to build the anglia because they're neat little cars. He's just gonna have to figure out a way to get enough room inside for everything and him to fit in it. Lol. They definitely don't carry any unnecessary weight.

I would love to have that much foot room in my car. That looks like Cadillac room.

Thanks Zak, and that is with ball joint spacers. The car came with a atraight axle set up from a old 57 nomad gasser that was returned to the street but the 50yr old work is pretty scary. So it might be awhile before it gets converted. Stock suspension with spacers it is for now!

A good portion of tri five gassers had a frames, nothing wrong with that!

A larger percentage of tri five lower class gassers had a A frame front ends. Since they were running for trophies, they could show up with the bumper on and check out the competition and run modified production if the car count was low or in a gas class and pull the bumper or just run with the bumper on.
I ran a lot of AHRA stuff and I had a intake that had interchangeable top. I could run formula 1,2 or 3
with my 65 Cyclone . It ran formula stock at an AHRA track an E/Gas at a NHRA track.

My old blue coupe had yellow tinted windows and they were like shooters glasses. They really helped with the lights. They even gave me a hard time during tech at an IHRA divisional event over the tinted windows. Rules said no tint. So I told them, look no throttle stop, no electronics in Super Rod was like taking a knife to a gun fight. So they let it go. When I put the former world champ on the trailer first round he bitched about it. Pretty funny.
