40 Merc tub, plenty of lights to burn on 6 Volts, better park on a hill for jump starting. Ripples running boards removed blackwalls, factory overrider, spots, fogs headlights six ways to see down the road.

 

Nice O/G 39 Ford tub ready to customize.

 

They made approx. 1500 1939 Ford tubs, some say 6 1940 Tubs were made, for the 1939/1940 worlds fair. Here's the Ad page from Ford

 

John Lee I think the correct number of Deluxe Convertible Sedans produced was more like 3561.

Dang, very cool. Weren't the '39-'40 4 door convertibles the lowest production vehicles during these years? I just saw someone actually posted the production number. LOL!

Cut down 2 dr sedan 1932 Ford tub, mighty nice. Proper Duval windshield with the ends tucked in like Doan Spencers, great lookin' .
