British car with a V 12 Jaguar engine. The tach is even the factory unit out of the Jaguar. This photo has been popping up here on the HAMB in various threads since at least as early as 2008 and not too many people have been able to identify the engine so you are not alone.

This is Gary MacArthur’s 1958 rail from Oakland, California. Gary was a brave soul to buckle up inside that enclosed pill bottle of a dragster. Running an Algon-injected Olds, the aluminum body was the work of the Bay Area’s Jack Hagemann. It won the Oakland Roadster Show’s “Most Beautiful Competition Car” in 1960.

Wow Loudbang, where did you find this photo, I've never seen it before.
That 70 Maverick was a SOHC powered Pro Stocker raced by Portlands Bill Ireland, I owned it after it had been built as a tube framed gas/altered class car.

The 1rst pic which is lacking a little in fluidity and artistic style however the ole trumpet is there just in case things get out of hand.

The 2nd and 3rd are well laid out and have visual flavor.

    Heres one back atcha...;)
