Painting done this week. Sorry I don't contribute much in the FAS. "Docs New Ride". I used salt from Bonneville for some of the textural effect.

    Halloween Surprise
    upload_2017-10-20_7-20-24.png
    Hello,

With Elvira making her last appearance at Knott's, and Universal Studios doing their Halloween Horror Nights, So Cal is in full Halloween mode. (a week or so will give you plenty of time.) So, for you Halloween buffs, here is a simple diagram pattern for a pop up heart card to give to your kids, grand kids, or friends. Copy, paste, add-delete colors, add-delete photos, outline borders, it is simple and fun. Personalization, is the name of the game.

Kids and adults love pop up cards that don’t look like they came from the neighborhood stores. If you have your own family photos, there are spaces to add those to the card.

Once the photos, drawings, colors are all in place, copy and save. Then get some shiny card stock for the print out. If you have saved it to your computer and you don’t want to print it out at home, put it on a flash drive and take it to Target or any big box store with a Kodak Print machine. They can print it out on photo paper or other matt finish paper for your project. Costs are minimal unless you send them out to a million friends.

The grey line is the fold line. The heart folds inside of the card. The folded card can be given as is, but if you are a fanatic about square or rectangle exterior cards, print out the same size outer card and glue the rectangle part to the outer skin. Leave the folding heart alone, so it can still fold inside of the outer skin.

"Wait, this card is the odd ball shape and size"...So, make your own paper envelope using this simple pattern, just adjust for size:

    HAPPY HAUNTING!
