I have always liked and previously owned nomads but never owned a safari and I don't remember seeing a post on just them. Does anyone here own one and can post a picture of theirs or a picture of a buddys safari? I wouldn't mind one myself. Exterminator

Denison is right in my area so if it is a charcoal and silver 57 it might be my old one.

Here are pics of a '56 that I nearly bought back in the '80s. A guy I knew said no body parts were available for it and talked me out of it. Dumbass me.o_O:D 56 safari front.jpg 56 Safari rear quarter.jpg 56 Safari side.jpg

Bought a 56 about 15+ yrs ago for $2k. Sat in my driveway a few months and the wife said sell. So I put it on ebay. Got $5500 and sent it to California.

    Should have kept it.

I have what's left of a 58 I used for a demo derby car a long time ago.

  20. I've owned my 55 Safari since 1994 and bought a 57 in 1997. Sold the 57 last summer to finance a new roof for the house. Safari4-18-2016Pictures 004.jpg !957PontiacSafariGoodbye 008.jpg

  21. Does anyone happen to know the ratio in production numbers between the Nomads and Safaris? I assume that the Safaris are far more rare than the Nomads, just curious as to how much rarer. Thanks, Don.

  22. while going thru a farm yard months ago I noticed the owner had a very nice tailgate for a Safari stored in the dry barn. Can't recall the year but if anyone is in need of info I could contact him. He stated that he would sell it.

  23. Does he have the upper section as well? I'm interested in one of those as the one on my 55 is bent beyond repair.

Back in the 70’s through the 90’s a neighbor had one, going to build this someday. Don’t know whatever happened to it. Guess I’ll go ask him...

This is not a Safari but it caught my eye and has to be a rare bird... 25395893_1512235445556838_1416595279302999757_n.jpg
