That is going to be sweet. Now for the 1.98 question. The way you have it set up is the radiator going to be in the stock A position ? I keep plugging away at collecting ideas and info my 31 Vic with the 8 BA with the occasional part added in and want to run the radiator in it's stock location rather than pushed forward like you used to see a lot.

Ain't it the truth. Rusty is one of the best welders I have ever seen. Also one of the cleanest fabricators I know too. His stuff always looks first class.

  16. Wow, this Roadster is coming along great! I'm really glad i came across this though, because for years i've been wondering how i can finish off the boot floor going over the stepped up chassis and rear crossmember in a simplistic way and this has just answered my questions.

a buddy welds an 1/8" strip of angle iron front to back, into the upper inside of the frame, paints it flat black, can barely see it, adds strength...

With front and rear unsplit wishbones, there’s really no reason to box it, the wishbones get to do there job

    IMO...
model a frames tend to sag just where the cowl starts, [stock tranny mounted there] it pooches the hood to cowl and grill gaps...
any engine today is heavier than the banger pushing 50 hp... with 4 0r 5 times more pop one might think about a little renforcement...
