Candy Apple Red will always be one of my favorite colors. Gold was another popular color from back in the day for customs, as was copper. Good luck on your choice.

  6. If you want a custom that can be seen coming down the road a block away, I would go with a shade of bright blue or green. Yes, the red hues are popular, but I think overdone. I have 3 red cars now in varying shades and I have grown tired of red. The candy tangerine really stands out too.

Your car, Your choice, IMO, Black is the one or Candy red over gold to get dark deeper red, Ford has some great reds now, color scheme's, satin to high gloss, two tones, radical flames, scallop's, it's all good, just YOUR preference, YOUR Dime. Old expression, "You can please all of the people some of the time, some of the people all the time, But, not all of the people all the time", the only one that matters is YOU!

My personal favorite is midnight purple. It is the color my T will be. It looks good in the sun and the purple really pops at night.

This is my main problem, with every car I've paint in the past. The color is always good for a couple of months and then I wish I painted another color. Go with what you like not what others think.

  14. I like Gold. Gold would look good. Gold cars stand out, at least to me.

It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, its your car, paint it what you like. I painted my custom Airflow kandy gold top half and kandy tangerine bottom two tone. It was what I liked.
