Thanks Hotdoggin Daddy O and Tim. In answer to both your questions, yes I have more on that 34 Chev and here they are. Tim - I am just starting my "normal" pictures. I usually take a bunch of action shots and then never do anything with them so this year I thought I would get the thread off to a bigger and faster start by including a bunch of those, with still more to come since they take far less work and can be done much quicker. Am heavily time constrained due to both work and because I am leaving for another event north of Seattle on Friday, so those will start showing up next week too.

PS: I, and I am sure a lot of others, would love to know more about that wild engine if anyone knows.

    You're very welcome hotrodman303.
One of my very favorites from this event, and picking favorites is of course a very hard choice, was this deuce roadster and its super cool Caddy flathead. The custom made out of the top of the head headers were just gorgeous!

Great pictures as always, Dan. It allows me to spectate more and not worry about taking my own, lol. I can't believe we didn't cross paths, but it was a very busy weekend! I always look forward to your event coverage.

Oh yes- that gold chevy coupe has a roller-cam 235 with a bunch of old circle track goodies, really a cool car.

Thanks Grady(Jet96). I'm sure there were quite a few people I wanted to see and missed because I was going left when they were going somewhere else. Thanks also for the info on the 34 Chevy's engine.

Another car I always love is John @Binger 's pretty much flawless A. Here he along with wife Chelle( @MrsBinger ) are waiting to take a run up the hill.

Another thing I tried this year,as I noted up above someplace, was standing right on the side just a little up from where the cars were taking off and trying to capture the occupants' expressions as they were driving by.

Thanks Bill (Sancho). With a little practice, I'll get better at them.

I thought this was great - 4 people fully occupying this Model A in the staging lanes. I wish I would have had the time to get back in position to see them actually in motion.

Thanks Puff and thanks to your friend Cameron too for the added pictures.

    Thank you waylow64bird too. HRHC 17 OMD-1480.jpg
This will probably be my last image for today and probably until Monday night or Tuesday because I am off to Seattle for the weekend and another car event. Pictures of that - the Swindler's Run will start next week while this thread really gets a lot of attention. I am barely started on my more artsy images for this one so please return next week for that.

Thanks so much for all your comments and likes.

Dan your photos are breathtaking! Thanks so much for taking them and sharing them with us. As someone mentioned above, if I ever get my car done you may find me some morning on your doorstep asking you to do a photo shoot.

He broke his 32 Roadster with a Cragar B the week before, so had to fall back on Ol' Faithful.
He also has another full fendered 31, also with a Cragar B.
He convinced me; I'm going next year!
