@Dreddybear has a coupe that sends chills up my spine if I had to choose one that would be it. Its not my kind of a build but I still really like it. Otherwise I could be here all day naming cars that I like, there are just too many fine rides on this site not all of them are old enough to fit into the NSRA guide lines.

Great Thread ! Best part of the HAMB is the pictures, variety on here, I could post many many Pic's of the cars that float my boat, like many style's types, all are GOOD ! Being a Baby Boomer and saw the McMillan 32 Roadster in Hot Rod magazine 66 ? will admit to being partial on 32's and mine tripped my trigger for years, sold it, moved on, it was time for me.

  16. Ya know looking at this thread there are cars that give me wood that I would never consider owning or building for myself. Some of you guys won't get that but it is what it is I suppose.

  17. Like you Beeno,I too am amazed with the images of cars being posted that are not necessarily my idea of what I would like to own or desire but Damn....they are making a impression on me. HRP

  18. Are you guys talking about the pre '49 divide?

A man & his car that made a huge impression on me was Randy Nash & his 1932 Ford roadster,he allowed me to drive it in Charlotte,North Carolina and it was that day that I fell in love with roadsters.

More than likely, form versus function? Some of these cars are just TOO good. For instance, I used to drive my old T Bucket to the corner grocers, go inside, shop for 20 minutes and come on out. I'd NEVER do that with Royal Shifter's T. I'd be on pins and needles the whole time. That's just guessing, though. Beaner and HRP can be complicated individuals, at times.:)
