start head 2.jpg I needed to step away from the car tonight and get the motor finished up. I think having it complete will make me feel like this is doable. So it was time to dig into the porting on head number 2. Not gonna get fancy with it, just do some basic shaping and try to get them to flow a little air.

Yes sir, the Ol" Ph2000 It's Actually the first machine i worked on in a shop roughly 25 years ago. So when one came up available in good shape for my shop i bought it. A Serti was just too much money for my budget at the time ( and still lol)

I wish we had arranged to met up at the Meltdown. I drove my car there but didn't race. My wife happens to be in Grand Rapids this week visiting our son and his family.

In the end i pulled the block totally down scrapped my cam bearings and oil galley plugs and basically started over. it made for a very hard week. I am currently helping a friend with his 4 banger so im taking a short break to get my head clear.

  20. Make sure those rod bolts clear the camshaft too!

Need to stop parking that rusty Dodge pickup so close to your Henry J. You know that stuff is contagious. Good luck with your project , you are closer to being ready than mine is. Mine needs a cash trans fusion . So I can buy some parts.

  29. Did you ever get the car done? Such a good build thread!

  30. The car was sold before completion, then sold a couple (I think) times again after that.
