Always use USPS money orders and if you get screwed it's a federal offence and they can be jailed for it!

I don't have a PayPal account either. I got an email from them one day saying that I had received $800 and some change, problem is I hadn't sold anything so I wasn't expecting any money. I called them up right away and told them that there had been a mistake and asked PayPal to find the moneys rightful owner and get it back to them. Several months later my account was suspended due to involvement in fraud. I called their customer support and filed a petition saying I was a victim of fraud, but they still didn't care. So now I'm not allowed to have a PayPal account since I was honest and returned money that didn't belong to me.

I recently retired from a career in the telecom business, several years of it in a class 4 office. I did some occasional sleuthing for friends that had questions, lots of who called who, when, and where info. I know what you mean about getting caught, be careful.

PayPal is great your money is protected always, plus you can send and receive money easily from anywhere.

  16. I'm currently studying the world of online trading. This has opened me up to all sorts of shenanigans. No big deal, as I have no money in the bank, and I'm learning a lot as I go. These cheese dicks will ring, and a London number comes up, but their English is so bad, and they are desperate to get you on board. I amuse myself greatly, but playing dumb, and stringing them along. I use a burner phone, and put em on speaker, like Friday night at work. Messed a guy about, to the great amusement of my customer. The general rule here, is if it sounds to good to be true......
And this had been said time and time again, in these scammer threads.

We do not have a land line because most of the calls were recorded messages trying to sell us something.

I have had a Paypal account for 17 years and have more than 30,000 transactions through it with people from 35 different countries with no fraud or any other types of problems. :)

I've never had a problem with Paypal but they are starting to inject politics into their business. When they do that, I'm done with them and Ebay.
