thanks for nice words, I'm trying to stretch my artistic side more than ever before.... it's been kind of fun. I know it's not for all.

stained the bottom side, I plan to put acouple coats of gloss urethane on this weekend. I did a friends 59 MGA like this and really liked it.

Whoa! 3 new pages and I haven't been getting notified! ( I'm subscribed) Irritating. You got a lot done and I was impressed with your pattern making tail shaft shift thingy. Keep it up!

Oh, and the stained wood floors are neat too!

Dean Lowe I'm guessing your not gonna like this, just kidding... (i know you'd like to see some fenders installed)

i'm going to drill out rear fender mounting holes and install some "fake rivet looking things", I'm hoping they kind of fade into background, and aren't to noticeable.

done a little heating/bending/welding/drilling/grinding/sanding etc.... and got the gas pedal almost ready for nickel plating (like the brake pedal)

I really enjoy this kind of stuff the most......

  14. Cutting up Henry's finest and welding it back together again, heating it and bending it along the way.
    I'm sure you're having fun.

works pretty good, needs to add an couple springs, pedal stop on the floor and finish Powerglide kickdown.

Not super happy with how low the pedal pad is, might cut out an inch or so out of lower level and raise pad. Pivot etc... all works good

A few update pictures; working on a few little things while trying to figure out wire routing/fuse box location and starting to mess around with seats...

  23. This is easily one of the most creative cars on here and proof you don't have to hack one up to make it cool.

I'm stating to get to were I can imagine getting it running/driving.
I have a pretty big "to-do list" and a couple items are gonna take some time... might not get out this fall/year, but I can't see any reason i'm not driving next spring. (but the interior won't be done yet)

you notice those, lol... i'm not sure what I was thinking.

I've made these "1/2 fish mouth" looking aluminum tips, but they need more work and i'm not 100% I like them. we'll see what happen.

been work on wiring a little at a time, I've never tried to hide or minimize visible wiring this much before. (it's caused me to redo things a couple times but I'm getting closer.....) also this "cloth tape stuff" is messy, but I like the look.

    some close ups pics...
