I don't know much about this other than it's a 1/25ish scale vague copy of 'Silouhette'. I've had it about 25+ years. I had a friend who worked in a second hand/collectibles shop who used to put car-related stuff to one side for me (particularly red-line Hotwheels!) and this was waiting for me one day. The manufacturer is 'Zylmex' and their name for the car is 'BRUTE' (!) with a model number K706 (all cast into the base). My one has broken front 'suspension' so the nose sits flat on the ground. I did a quick Google search and found a (small) scan of a catalogue from 1974 with a black version under the heading 'Rebels'. I also noticed that the wheels on mine are not the originals. As for finding one, E-bay would probably be your best bet. In the meantime, here's a couple more images. IMG_2524.JPG IMG_2525.JPG

I'm still perfecting this tanker for the office. The white letters on the trailer look more professional, but I like the colored letters and the white background makes it easier to read-even though it looks exactly like I cut up a bumper sticker, which is what I did.

Just got this one, a '56 Ford, besides the lettering on the door, on the bed cover it says 1965-1995. Thought it was a kewl bank... 56-1.jpg 56-2.jpg

  5. What makes collecting toys so much fun. Is that you can keep on collecting them. As with the real ones , not so much. That's unless you have lots of $$$. Here's a 1950 Chevy, with a camper trailer. And a old photo of a 54 20170808_124109.jpg 20170807_140504.jpg

Poor photo, I built this trailer by hand to go with a Tonka pickup. Just like the real thing, it had a steel frame, with aluminum skin tacked to a wood superstructure.

  9. Here's an old camper that I built some 40 years ago. I also built a model of it, back then also. I don't use it anymore.
But it was a lot of fun. And I still have it . We called it home sweet home. Ron... 20170808_154142.jpg 20170808_151812.jpg 20170807_140953.jpg 20170808_151745.jpg

  14. Thanks Ed. You should've seen the campers in their motor homes when we pulled up in that old delivery camper. Lol 20170807_140640.jpg 20170808_180528.jpg Another old Ford and trailer.

So from the looks of some of the posts, fotos do not have to be diecast or HAMB friendly. Im not complaining, just want to verify before I post fotos of some old cast iron. Opinions anyone?

Would that be a Trailer Park?

  19. Yes, this thread has gone from a die cast thread, to a toy thread.

I hope these posts are OK since not diecast. Here are a few more pieces of cast iron. These are from mid to late 1930s I like trucks. IMG_6454.JPG IMG_6467.JPG IMG_6457.JPG
