No seriously, I'm making a lower bezel for you and a top. I'll see how that goes and then go from there. I can probably make a couple for you and Bruce and then I'll see. Maybe by then it will get easier and I'll figure out some efficiency concerns. I obviously don't want to dedicate too much time to this game but for the good guys that have done more than right by me here on the HAMB I'm persuadable.
But remember my measuring stick, you have to be cool not oh wait that's me

Hold up guys that's three on the waiting list. If this keeps up soon everyone will be looking for stock inserts again after my Pines Winterfront clones become mainstream homogenized traditional fodder. So boring. The guys on the Barn will hate me if the value of their originals comes down a grand or two.

While searching for pics of 32-34PUs at the HAMB Drags and pipe dreaming. I came across this roadster.

I don't know anything about it or its owner. I thought it had a mild Hubba Hubba vibe though. Notice the old chrome front suspension parts and drab overall tone.
Sadly I can't go to this years event the wife says there's scheduling constraints. Hopefully I will make it to next years event preferably in my pickup but more likely my avatar

I was given this old hub/brake drum puller today. It kinda cool. Super beefy and adjustable for multiple bolt centers.

After watching a b-17("Aluminum Overcast" I think) flying over my house a few times the last couple days. I got a little emotionally motivated to fly off course.
I picked up some supplies to make repairs to my second bomber seat belt to bring it closer in condition to my first.

My momma just happens to be visiting to tomorrow so I asked if she could sort of darn the two big booboos. She is also going to flip around the routing of the webbing that I believe is incorrect and isn't like my other. While doing this she will replace the latches with my spares. Mostly because of the badly dried leather piece. Also the stitching was failing at the latch/buckle. So I purchased some close thread today. I also got some different fabric dyes to come up with a blend that can put about thirty or more years back into its appearance. I also wanted to better balance the pair as a set. I played with that some today with decent results.

Thanks @corndog for the old chrome touch of class. Well it's not really old but it's not new either. "Old" sounds cooler? Going to make new upper mounts to accommodate the longer travel of these Gabriels. I have a image in my head I think that will look cool, not that you'll ever see in there. Using speed holes of course

I'm thinking that if some bare footed dude, sitting in the dirt in some back alley in Pakistan using nothing but a file can make AK-47's , you can replicate your grill.
I haven't been getting notifications of your thread lately, looks like I missed some stuff.

I found a set of seat quadrants to use on doors for secondary safety locks.
Was going to make some but these just look so easy to adapt. Driver side should be cake. Passenger will need some reversing and won't look as clean but hey.
