yup. Same roads in my neck of the woods here in Michigan. However, the roads around our capitol - Lansing - are in excellent condition.

How are the roads around your capitol city? (smiling).

 

Me thinks you both are well versed in the fine art of exaggeration.

I do believe even the paved roads in Michigan are pretty darn rough although I didn't get stuck. HRP

That was neat! My father always said the 4 cylinder Dodge of that period was one of the toughest engines built.

Not exaggerating. The roads around Lansing MI are the finest in our fair state.

 

I had a old 68 Dodge pickup with a slant 6 that went where a lot of 4 x 4 guys were afraid to go,that darn engine was a stump puller.

I remember seeing the commercial about how tough Dodge trucks are but this car really can go anywhere.
