I like that a lot... I'd go just a little paler on the dove gray, and switch the black out to a very dark gray charcoal metallic.

I've been AWOL awhile and realize I'm late to the party, but this is a great start on a custom Falcon. I think it screams for rear skirts, a Mercury Monterey style slant back roof line and a slight tail drag. Great job Moose.

When setting up the "rootbeer" shade, I accidentally overlaid a lighter test color over the dark and it just popped!
I love '53 Ford hardtops and had to do a two-tone kustom version.

    Umm, wanna sell your car?

Got to admit it looks better with the black roof in that colour, although I would be strung up if I was to suggest it after the hassle we had getting it done in the first place.
    How about this colour thumbnail_IMG_2399.jpg
It's the new Ford metallic blue

    Madfish,
Could you please update my pic of the '58 black Chevy with the tire/hubcap design above. I now plan to use 235r15 whitewall tires on the car so the rubber will fill the firewall more. I think think combo will look good. thanks much

    The Mouse,
Thank you! I very much appreciate it. One last thing if I may, could you blow up the tires a bit. I plan to use 135 75r15 on the unit which will fill the fender wall area more. 205 are currently on it. thanks much

Moose, Rocket. Sorry I wasn't much help, I'm on vacation in Canada and the wifi has been spotty in some places.
But, as usual, Moose always pulls through.

  27. Looks like your going to reinstall all of the trim and emblem so I thought it would look best with something simple...
