Thank you Mr Stuckey your creations have helped to influence many a youngster. You can just barely see the Little Coffin to the right. IMG_4603.JPG

  7. Sad news. Seems like the last few years we have lost some great kustomizers and kustom enthusiasts in July. Definitely puts a kink in the great time of year we know as summer time.
My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

I feel so lucky to have been able to receive a firm handshake from this gentleman at a show years ago. He was one of the primo builders. RIP Dave

I heard the Little Coffin is the top seller of all time Models in kit form. I still have mine.
Dave is one of those people that way to many people know nothing about him.

Thanks for this, Mick. Sad news indeed. Dave was truly an icon in his own right.
I got to meet him a few year's back...sadly, his health wasn't good enough at the time for us to do an Interview. But, just spending some brief time with him was a real pleasure.

My prayers to his family & friends.

May he rest in peace. He was one of the first customizers that I followed when I first became a car guy at an early age.

Spent 4 years in Wichita, lived close to Starbirds shop, passing it every day on my why to the air base there. Saw what was to become the LiL Coffin in its many different builds through those years. Really, it in my opinion is the best hot rod/custom EVER Built, (Ala Kart and it tie) So, so many truly great cars from Dave through the years. Talent like his can't be even close to being replaced. RIP Dave you were and still are the greatest.
