I like what you have now. But if you have to change it, 4th from the top looks good.

If it works don't fix it. Don't like any of the new ones, too hard to read and too busy.

I would say experiment a little, personally I like gears, lightning bolts, you can always go back to the original, go for it I wanna see the new one. Maybe a competition for a new design. heres one I did for the Carrera drivers at Pikes Peak years ago.

The 40 year old me of last Monday would have said sure change it up but I turned 41 on Tuesday and I'm thinking leave it be.

Why change it? The current logo is good and is recognized! Again, why change something that doesn't need changing?

Those are all well done...but as with many of the others, my vote is ole traditional... the original. As others have said the more complex font plays a little on the eyes.

I'm thinking out loud here @Ryan...have you ever considered a club style plaque HAMB embossed...the type you hang, as this is a pretty darn awesome club to belong too...;)

I put the "new" HAMB Alliance plaques on the inside of the lid of the tool box of my car trailer and continue to run the old plaques on my cars as they are easily and quickly recognized. Quite frankly, change for the sake of change is never a good thing.

  19. How can you improve the 3 star HAMB knuckle badge ???

Hmmmm ..... maybe put some titties somewhere in there. Probably look just fine.

  20. I originally came from the advertising world. People were always wanting to change logos.
The new marketing manager, the new ad company pitching for an account, the guy who'd worked for the company for so long he was bored...they all think that changing a logo is some kind of magic.

Then there are the marketing managers in young businesses desperate to achieve the legendary, instantly familiar logos of companies that have been around for ever.

Change for changes sake has never sat well with me.

Of those shown, the original still works for me.....but I'm open to more options.
Actually, I think it will be hard to improve on the current one.

Love the current one and have it on license toppers - firewall tags - t-shirts /jacket and even decals on my daily.
Don't change it I can't afford to replace all of this shit.
O yea what happened to this years calendar?
If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Has the new logo had years of recognition? Is it stuck to countless firewalls and dashes all over the country? Does seeing it bring back fond memories of builds, friends and adventures?

The old one has these advantages.

I think you're going to see an overwhelming majority ask you NOT to change it.

The current logo is synonymous with the HAMB, it's corporate identity or registered trademark ®™. It is instantly recognizable like Jalopy Journal by aficionados worldwide.

  29. Pretty sure this crowd is a little resistant to newfangled ideas. Not taking anything away from the new ones, they are very well done, but they don't have the cool factor of the original.

Nope. Bad font style on the suggested logos. It's your gig, change the logo if you like but that font sure as hell ain't HAMB-worthy.
